I just want to let you know what the Dr said about Debbie. At this point there is no more they can do for her other than keep her comfortable. They are sending hospice to her home and will have it set up for her so that we will be able to cope and manage her pain. Her insurance covers everything. We are really thankful for that. She is in good spirits as usual. Her Dr team are still looking into options as far as clinical trials and regimines but at this point, surgery is too dangerous for no benefit and she has become resistant to the chemo which has stopped working. I wanted to share that with you. God is with us just like He is with you.
I sent this out to some of the family. This has been an emotional week for me and it's only wednesday. It
is hard to focus on anything else. She is in good spirits though, especially now that her pain is being managed. I'm home today and still not functional at 11am. I have done a load of laundry and folded one load though. So not totally dysfunctional.
I can't get too much going on today so Chloe and I are packing up and heading for the hospital.
