Today is a sunny but breezy day with temps getting no warmer than 44 F. So cool but so much better than a couple of weeks ago. It is going to get cooler in a couple of days for a day or two and the way people talk you would think the ice age was going to hit us. It is however still winter. Yesterday Chloe and I went to get Daddy a present. We bought him a nice pair of slip on shoes. All leather with tassles. He put them on and loved them right away. We also got cards for him. I did make a pie. Banana Cream Pie. And I made chicken and noodles for dinner. I wasn't ready for dinner until about 9pm or later. Made a ton of dirty dishes, was really tired but loved the pie, so did Chloe and Mark had seconds which definitely means he loved it.
I was weeping inside all day for Debbie so I called her in the evening after she got home from the hospital. They didn't give her the one chemo treatment because they had forgotten to schedule it in the computer. She did have her usual chemo - Avastin though. Avastin doesn't upset her. But the other one does very much and is making her very weak. I was so happy for her that it worked out this way since she was so afraid to go yesterday. All I could think was how good God is in that He never allows us to have more than we can bear.
Today is cleaning and grocery shopping. Let's see what we get done. I do want to make a cake for Mark's party tomorrow as well. Let's see.
