Today is my oldest grandchild's 10th birthday. I won't get to see him today, but will have to wait until the weekend.
Today it is also one month until Easter. I wanted to give up something this month to prepare myself for Easter and to spend more time reading, praying and thinking about what Jesus did for me. So I am giving up playing Farmville and Cafe World. I said for a month, but it is hopefully permanently. That is such a huge waste of time.
On March 31st my baby chicks will arrive. I will be busy being a surragate mother to them and helping them through the first important few weeks of their lives. Between now and then I have some getting ready to do. There are also other things I can get done before they arrive, to allow me to spend as much time with them as they need me to.
I've been seeing flocks of geese flying over heading North. I've been hearing the chirping of birds in the early morning, even while the ground is still covered with snow.
Today is sunny, the high will get up to 36 degrees, that's about 2 C. We've been promised 48 on Sunday, that's about 9 C.
I just added a counter for the arrival of my baby chicks.
Counters are so much fun!!!!
Yeay I'm learning about blogs. I bet I will get really good at this by the time I'm ready for a real blog.
I changed the title on my blog. I feel bad saying home making challenges. When I'm not as interested in homemaking as I am a lot of other things. Now I sound narcicisstic.
Recently I bought a thermometer for my oven. Boy am I glad I did. It explains a lot.
