So it's 6 days now until I get my baby chicks.  Excitement is huge.  Every morning I get up telling myself I'm going to get an early start to my day.  I open my browser and begin reading everything about chickens and next thing I know my day is half gone and I haven't done anything yet.  Unless you count reading as something.  The whole chicken thing is so fascinating and the possibilities, seemingly endless.  I do start off by reading some Bible verses and praying for my children, grandchildren, and my husband and myself.  I'm not playing games on facebook anymore.  I still check facebook and occasionally update my status.  But generally if it doesn't have anything to do with chickens, I find it rather boring.  What is happening to me?  Do I leave one obession just to be taken by another?
