30 days to a Greener Diet

no posts last few days, I was tired of lists and excitement about them. As soon as I made the lists I was done. Must be a psycological thing. It happens to me and I float through a few days like that at least once a month. But I'm back. I was posting a daily verse and then I lost it with my daughter when I was paying bills. It was humiliating, but I repented, asked forgivness, and I decided that merely reading a verse and writing it down wasn't enough. I need to really seek God quietly and fervently for faith and peace. What about anxiety? It overtook me.
So today I'm starting day 1 of a new plan to a Greener Diet. Green interests me and is something I feel necessary to improve my family's way of life and promote the green movement. I feel that if there is a better, healthier way then I should make every effort to do that.
The website is: www.thedailygreen.com a lot of really useful stuff.
30 Days to a Greener Diet by Deborah Barrow
Day One
Pour a Glass of red wine.

"Most wine is good for you, in moderation and assuming you have no substance abuse issues. Organic and biodynamic wines are now available, as well as new local wines from coast to coast. Red wine has resveratrol, an important antioxidant, so it’s really packed with health."

I will have to remember to do that, I don't want to do that right now because I'm still having my morning coffee. Probably should wait until bedtime or dinner time.

I like a good merlot but I don't see my bottle of wine on the list of organic wines. Hmmmmmm.

Have you ever heard of Biodynamic Wine? I hadn't, very interesting though. It appears that these wineries grow grapes in harmony with nature. This is my interpretation of what I read.

"Each year on the last Saturday in February “The Wall Street Journal” declares that it is Open That Bottle Night so wine lovers can pull the cork on those bottles of wine and champagne that they have been saving and enjoy the contents they were meant to be enjoyed." from the Winery Grgich Hills Estate which also has a merlot, rather expensive but organic and biodynamic.
